Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains what information AniPeak ("we", "us") collects when you use the AniPeak app and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect what we need to run the service, keep it safe and keep it free.

Short version: you sign in with Google to use the app. We store your profile, bookmarks, watch history and comments. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. We never sell your personal information.

What we collect

We do not ask for your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.

How we use it

• To provide streaming, bookmarks, history, downloads and the release schedule.
• To send notifications you allowed, such as new episodes and replies to your comments.
• To verify purchases and apply VIP or ad-free time.
• To moderate comments and enforce our Terms.
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse of ad-free rewards.
• To fix crashes and understand which features people use.
• To show the ads that keep the app free.

Advertising

The free version of AniPeak shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android settings (Settings › Google › Ads or Settings › Privacy › Ads, depending on your device). VIP removes ads entirely.

Third-party services

We rely on these providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob: advertising. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging: usage analytics, crash reports and notifications. Firebase privacy
• Google Sign-In and Google Play Billing: sign-in and in-app purchases.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the providers listed above as needed to run the app, when required by law, or to protect the safety and security of our users and the service. Your display name, avatar and comments are visible to other users when you post them.

Retention

Your account, profile, bookmarks, history and comments are kept until you delete them or your account. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to honor VIP and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Crash and analytics data follow Firebase's retention settings.

Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your AniPeak account and its data at any time. Email support@anipeak.us from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my AniPeak account". We delete your account, profile, bookmarks, history and comments within 30 days. Some records may be kept where the law requires it, such as purchase records. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Your choices

You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings, edit or delete your comments, reset your advertising ID, and ask us for a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, which we honor.

Children

AniPeak is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and fix issues quickly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will post the new version here and update the effective date, and tell you in the app if the changes are significant.
